Data Analyst: Level 2

Job Summary

The Contract Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing revenue contracts and extracting key financial and pricing details into a structured Excel format. This role requires the ability to interpret legal and financial language in contracts and ensure high accuracy in data entry. Additional responsibilities may include general pricing administration and support of related systems.

Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret revenue contracts to extract critical information (e.g., institution name, pricing, payment terms).
  • Populate data templates using Excel to organize contract information in a structured, consistent format.
  • Identify and flag nonstandard contract terms or pricing elements.
  • Support other pricing administration tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of information across systems.
  • Utilize tools such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, or Microsoft Access where applicable.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, pricing, or contract administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret legal and financial contracts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be located in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)
  • Experience with pricing analysis or contract pricing.
  • Familiarity with Contract Management Systems.
  • Experience using Smartsheet, SharePoint, or Microsoft Access.
  • Proficiency in creating or maintaining structured databases.
  • Exposure to financial or ERP systems is a plus.
