Content Project Manager – remote

Seeking a freelance Content Project Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of customer experience resources that help instructors, students, and internal teams succeed. In this part time, remote contract role, you'll join the Customer Experience Marketing team to transform complex content into clear, practical onboarding resources, training materials, and how-to guides—all aligned to the Support At Every Step strategy. You'll also help manage Customer Experience survey feedback, ensuring insights are routed to the appropriate teams for timely follow-up.
 
**EST hours are preferred.
**Up to 25 hours per week.

What You'll Do
  • This person will be working independent and with the cross-functional teams to transform complex content into simplified versions.
  • Manage the creation, production, and upkeep of customer-facing and internal support content.
  • Simplify complex workflows into clear, user-friendly materials.
  • Keep content library organized and up to date.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Research teams.
  • Monitor Customer Experience survey feedback and route insights to the appropriate teams to support timely, thoughtful follow-up.
  • The contractor will receive project requests for videos, PowerPoint presentations, and microsite updates.
  • The individual will collaborate with both the product owner and platform marketer.
  • The candidate must ensure accurate content and collaborate with other teams to make any changes.
  • The project will be assigned through ASANA. The individual will take the initiative and collaborate with the content specialist to publish it live.
What You Bring
  • Proven experience in technical writing or content management (edTech/SaaS a plus)
  • Strong ownership of documentation processes
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills
  • Comfort with fast-paced, collaborative work
  • Should be very detailed oriented.
  • Should have experience in simplifying the large and complex information/content to the simplified version.
  • Tools: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office, Asana, SharePoint
  • Looking for EdTech, SaaS or K12 industry background.
  • Candidate must have technical writing, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • If the candidate has accessibility check experience it's a plus.
  • Bonus: LMS platform experience
