The DevOps Engineer builds and maintains automated delivery and operational systems that enhance internal customer experience. This role bridges development and operations by deploying product updates, implementing integrations, and resolving production issues through automation and scripting expertise. The position requires strong software engineering knowledge with proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Design and implement integrations to meet internal business unit requirements
- Deploy updates, fixes, and releases in collaboration with operations team
- Provide Level 2 technical support and troubleshoot production issues
- Develop automation tools and scripts to reduce errors and improve system reliability
- Build software solutions that integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis on production errors and implement preventive measures
- Create and maintain scripts for automation and system visualization
- Design and document procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Upgrade and maintain DevOps infrastructure and tooling
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Strong problem-solving abilities with analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable providing remote support via WebEx and screen sharing
- Quick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies
- Collaborative team player
- Experience with or willingness to learn AI tools and emerging technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows scripting (bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Knowledge of open-source technologies such as Java and Tomcat
- Familiarity with Windows .NET framework
- Understanding of backend database systems
