Product Specialist – onsite

Onsite contract position available in Columbus, Ohio for a Product Specialist who will be supporting the Asset Management Team. This position will function as a skilled PS2 within the Department of Information Technology responsible for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets. 

Specific responsibilities:

• Updating meta-data required for asset management.
• Add newly acquired assets to the system.
• Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.
• Coordinated and organizing disposal of client's computer and networking outdated equipment.
• Maintaining organization of working area.
• Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.
• Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation
• Mobile AV support
• Unpackaging and movement of equipment. 
• Follow quality standards.

 
Experience / Qualifications:

• Updating metadata required for asset management — Required (4 years)
• Reassignment of assets based on ServiceNow incident tickets — Required (4 years)
• Coordinating and organizing disposal of computer and networking outdated equipment — Required (4 years)
• Appending asset tags to newly acquired equipment — Required (4 years)
• Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation — Required (4 years)
• Mobile AV support — Required (4 years)
• Unpackaging and movement of equipment — Required (4 years)
• Analytical and customer service skills.
• Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Complete assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills; both written and spoken
