Onsite contract position available in Columbus, Ohio for a Product Specialist who will be supporting the Asset Management Team. This position will function as a skilled PS2 within the Department of Information Technology responsible for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets.Specific responsibilities:
- Updating meta-data required for asset management.
- Add newly acquired assets to the system.
- Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.
- Coordinated and organizing disposal of client’s computer and networking outdated equipment.
- Maintaining organization of working area.
- Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.
- Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation
- Mobile AV support
- Unpackaging and movement of equipment.
- Follow quality standards.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Updating metadata required for asset management — Required (4 years)
- Reassignment of assets based on ServiceNow incident tickets — Required (4 years)
- Coordinating and organizing disposal of computer and networking outdated equipment — Required (4 years)
- Appending asset tags to newly acquired equipment — Required (4 years)
- Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation — Required (4 years)

- Analytical and customer service skills.
