Technician

Roanoke, VA client has a contract opportunity for a Technician who will be responsible for performing intermediate level technical work and related activities associated with the engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of Company equipment and facilities.

• Preferred location is Roanoke, VA
• Will also consider New Albany, OH, Corpus Christi, TX and Hurricane, WV.
• Job designation is Onsite requiring 5 days in office work.
• No OT expected. No travel.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of a two year technical degree preferably in engineering/electronic technology, plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience.
• Must have experience reading one lines and electrical/physical prints. Experience with file management and ability to upload photographs into the client system to provide support to the verification team. Data accuracy is critical.

• Coordinate FAC-008 activities of others and provide updates to leadership.
• Become proficient in navigation and monitoring of the IPS asset database.
