Project Mgr Prin

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects within a matrixed environment. This role is responsible for driving full project lifecycle execution—from planning through completion—while ensuring safety, budget control, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality delivery. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, communication, and project management expertise, particularly in construction or industrial settings.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management for intermediate to complex projects or programs
  • Plan, develop, and manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables
  • Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards
  • Monitor project performance, control costs, and adjust funding allocations as needed
  • Provide clear and consistent communication on project status to stakeholders
  • Lead project meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder presentations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and partners
  • Drive accountability across project teams, including employees and contractors
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members and junior project managers
  • Oversee contractor performance and coordinate field activities when needed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective project execution and delivery
  • Supervise direct reports (if assigned), including performance management and development
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
    • OR Associate degree with additional relevant experience
  • 7+ years (Bachelor's) or 9+ years (Associate's) of project management or related experience
  • Proven experience managing complex projects across full project lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality management
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial project environments
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a matrixed team environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with construction safety standards and compliance practices
  • Background in project estimating, project controls, or construction contracting
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools and methodologies
