Project Mgr
We are seeking a Project Manager to support and lead projects across their full lifecycle in a matrixed team environment. This role focuses on planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement while ensuring safety, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Ideal candidates are developing leaders with strong project coordination skills and experience in construction, engineering, or industrial environments.

- Support and manage projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities and resources
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
- Lead or support project meetings, planning sessions, and reporting activities
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Promote and ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Support procurement activities, including RFP development, bid evaluation, and vendor selection
- Assist in contract management and ensure vendor performance meets expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks and support issue resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery
- Coach and support team members in project management practices
- Assist with project closeout, including performance evaluation and lessons learned
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
- OR Associate degree with additional relevant experience
- 3+ years of project management or related experience
- Experience supporting or managing projects in construction, engineering, or industrial environments
- Basic knowledge of project management principles (scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, matrixed environment
- Experience coordinating multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
- Experience in utilities, construction, nuclear, or IT project environments
- Familiarity with project estimating, controls, procurement, and contract management
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and compliance standards
- Exposure to project management tools, methodologies, or certification frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to take initiative
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and stakeholder communication
- Understanding of risk management and continuous improvement practices
