We are seeking an experienced Epic Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex healthcare IT implementation initiatives involving the Epic Systems platform. This role will oversee cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure successful implementation, optimization, or enhancement of Epic applications across the organization.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare technology, enterprise project management, and stakeholder engagement, with proven success delivering projects in fast-paced clinical and operational environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for Epic-related initiatives, including implementation, upgrades, optimization, and integration projects
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, clinical operations, vendors, and executive stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively develop resolution plans
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder communication
- Support change management and user adoption strategies for Epic solutions
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data security standards, and organizational policies
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align project goals with business objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT environments
- Hands-on experience managing projects involving the Epic Systems platform
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical systems, and operational processes
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Epic certification(s) in relevant modules
- Experience with system integrations, data migration, and workflow redesign
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards such as HIPAA
- Master’s degree in related field
