We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst to join a fast-paced product and technology team focused on building innovative digital learning solutions that support educators and students.This individual will play a critical role in transforming high-level business challenges and user needs into clear, actionable product requirements, user stories, workflows, and release-ready features.

Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements & User Story Development
- Translate business needs, customer pain points, and product opportunities into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and test plans
- Partner with product leaders, UX teams, and stakeholders to clarify goals and convert discovery insights into development-ready work
- Ensure requirements support accessibility and usability best practices
- Participate in user research, discovery sessions, competitive analysis, and customer feedback reviews
- Analyze workflows, existing processes, and usage data to identify product improvements
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring tickets are clearly written, prioritized, and organized in Jira
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies
- Help teams remove blockers and keep initiatives moving forward
- Support continuous improvement efforts that strengthen delivery quality and team effectiveness
- Coordinate dependencies and requirements across multiple teams when needed
- Validate story readiness and support feature quality before release
- Assist with release planning, defect triage, issue prioritization, and stakeholder communication
- Prepare release notes highlighting enhancements, fixes, and new functionality
- Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure successful delivery and SLA alignment
- Prioritize customer-reported issues and production defects with a strong user-first mindset
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Agile BA within software development teams
- Strong background writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and test scenarios
- Experience supporting Agile / Scrum delivery teams
- Hands-on experience with Jira backlog management and sprint ceremonies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down complex problems into actionable work
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated success managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in EdTech, digital learning, education platforms, or digital content delivery
- Exposure to UX research, customer journey analysis, or usage analytics
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG / a11y)
